These Hot Honey Chicken Sliders Are the Only Sliders You’ll Ever Want Again"

🔥 My life was significantly improved by these hot honey chicken sliders, and yours will be as well.

To begin with, I'm not the type of person who gets overly excited about chicken. It's chicken, after all. Oh my god, however, after I made these Hot Honey Chicken Sliders.

Crunchy, juicy, sweet, spicy, and slightly sour are the characteristics of these little sliders. To put it another way, they have every sandwich you could possibly want in a single bite. Imagine well-cooked chicken that has been dipped in buttermilk, fried or air-fried until golden and crunchy, and then served inside a tender brioche bun with luscious coleslaw. It's covered in homemade hot honey, which is the best part.

They're messy, to put it politely, and honestly? They have a flavor similar to what you might find at that fancy cafe you frequently see on Instagram or from a gourmet food truck.

Things You'll Need (and probably already have)

1.500g of boneless chicken thighs

2.One cup of buttermilk (or, if you're making it up, regular milk with one tablespoon of vinegar)

3.One cup of all-purpose flour

4.Garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper

5.Any small, fluffy bun, such as brioche slider buns

6.For that crunch of salt, pickles

Coleslaw: Homemade is better, but store-bought is still good.

7.For the hot honey, use half a cup of honey 🔥🍯

8.Red chili flakes, one tablespoon

9.A small amount of hot sauce (not required, but suggested)

👩‍🍳 Together, let's create some magic.

#First, soak the chicken in water.

Season the chicken with salt and paprika before adding it to the buttermilk. Give it a few hours to soak in the marinade. The tenderness of mine was significantly improved by doing it overnight.

Add flour in step two.
To the flour, add a generous amount of paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. After removing the chicken from the marinade, thoroughly coat each piece in flour. To get those crispy edges, I slightly press it down.

Step 3: Allow the chicken to cook.
It can be baked, air-fried, or fried in oil. My air fryer was set to 200°C, and I cooked it for about 20 minutes, turning it over halfway through. They were crunchy and delicious. You can also bake it if you want a golden crust. Simply mist it with a little oil.

Step 4: The hot honey is ready.
Heat the honey in a skillet. Add the chili flakes after that. Don't let it cook for too long—just a minute or two. Add some spicy sauce if you're as daring as I am. It tastes even better than it smells.

Create Your Sliders in Step Five
Toast your buns lightly (there is no question about this). Place a slice of pickle, a tablespoon of slaw, and a piece of that golden chicken on top, and then drizzle the hot honey over everything. Place the other bun half on top. Inhale deeply. Then taste it.

Have a Real Conversation
You can't help but do a little happy dance in the kitchen when you see these sliders. They look fancy, but they're not difficult to make. Once, I made them for a game night, and they quickly disappeared.

Advice: Increase the honey's heat. Apply it to everything, including bread, pizza, wings, and fingers.

Do you want to brag?
If you make these, I'd like to see them. I'll be salivating in your direct messages if you tag me on Instagram with #SliderObsession or #HotHoneyCrush.
